I have tried to install Apache 2.2.11, mysql 5.1.35 and php 5.2.10 on my vista machine.
I've had a few problems getting the mysql extension to work as it wasn't in the msi installer. However, now the extension is working but my Apache server keeps breaking with the message
'Parent: child process exited with status 255 -- Restarting.'
Any idea what this could be?
I was using a development machine with PHP 4 for a while and had not problems installing everything. However, with PHP 5, Mysqli is not included in the msi installer.
