(3)Basictodolist.com is a simple, no frills, easy to use and free online to-do list
Basictodolist.com is an online to do list where uses can add and re-order tasks.
The website is based around a clipboard as you can see from the screen shot and the wood around the clipboard went on to form the basis of the menu panels etc.
The bounce rate for the site is not bad, however the percentage of people who actually go on to register is disappointing. Users are clicking on the large 'get started' button and are going to the registration screen but many are not going on to register. I don't know if this is down to a poor registration screen or just a general apathy towards having to actually register.
I would particularly appreciate people's thoughts in this area.
The functionality of the site is relativly simple (it is designed to be a no-frills alternative to similar but much more complicated websites). However, if anyone goes on to register and actually use the site, if you have any suggested improvements in functionality or get annoyed with any particular feature, that would be very useful to know
Many thanks

Pretty straightforward
Clean, easy to use. I would prefer the ability to be able to delete completed items, or if a single completed task can be deleted from the list, I cannot see how to do it.
Download to spreadsheet worked well. Print view, too.
Would prefer the ability to name my own list, rather than only choosing between "home" and "work".
Would use the site frequently if I were able to send tasks to a list via text.
Clipboard looks great and good sales pitch
Firstly I must admit that I didn't register. However, first impressions are that the clipboard idea looks great. I assume clipboard would get bigger as you add more items.
I think it's good that you can pretty much see everything you need on your home screen withough having to scroll.
Users are also left in no doubt as to what to do next due to your big fat 'get started' button. Maybe it's a bit over the top but if it works, I wouldn't change it.
There doesn't seem to be anything in wrong with your registration screen in particular. Perhaps the standard grey button could be made non-standard just to give it that but extra.
I would probably say the reason people are not registering when they get to the registration page is because they didn't realise they woudl have to register. The big fat 'get started' button I suppose would make a user think they were just about to get started on the clipboard.
Maybe you should think about letting them make a start without registering but then registering if they want to save their items.
Overall, i think it looks very good. Four stars

Not Sure
The page looks good, but I don't like the fact that I have to register before I can find out more.....
